injections

Toward the end of last year I found a great offer online for some Botox injections, a treatment which I have had my eye on for some time. The reason why I wanted to get this treatment is because at the age of just 33, I really don’t like the appearance of crow’s feet which have started to develop around my eyes. I made the appointment and then 2 weeks ago I went to have the injection done. Naturally prior to my treatment I Googled the life out of Botox injections, what could go wrong, and what to watch out for. I wanted to share my experience with you, so that you can get an accurate idea of what the process looks like.

The Process

I was amazed when I went in for my injections at just how fast the whole process is. I sat down in the chair and spoke with the dermatologist for around 5 minutes about what would happen during the process, as well as what I was looking to get out of it. Once we had discussed where I want the Botox, she set about putting the injections in, which took less than 3 minutes. I paid for 30 units of Botox, a relatively low amount to have put in, this consisted of 10 units on each eye, and 10 units on my forehead. In total the dermatologist placed 9 injections.

Did It Hurt?

The administering of Botox did not hurt when it was injected under the skin, but the metal piercing through the skin of the syringe most definitely did sting. I would say that between 1 and 10, the pain was around a 6, not comfortable, but not too bad.

Directly Afterwards

The only advice which I was given after the procedure was to spend 5 minutes changing my facial expression between angry, happy and shocked. Doing this exercise helps to move the Botox around the muscle and give an even spread. The other advice which I was given was to avoid physical exercise or heavy lifting for 24 hours, and to avoid laying on my back for at least 4 hours.

Results

The result of Botox can be expected to arrive after between 5 and 7 days following the procedure. If casino trực tuyến uy tíncared for properly, the effects of the injections can last between 6 and 8 months. In my case, I began seeing results after just 4 days and I am very happy with the overall look of my skin.

Watch Outs

The only way in which Botox can go wrong is either if the body rejects the Botox, something which is incredibly rare, or if the Botox is out of date. With this in mind, be sure that you ask the professional to see the bottle of Botox and check the date. If your situation is anything like mine, the professional will show you the bottle first, without you asking.
